Hier in Nederland is het niet altijd zomer, heel vaak hebben wij een bewolkte, grijze hemel boven ons hoofd. Maar ik heb iets nieuws! Een mooie blauwe hemel in uw eigen kamer! Geschikt voor iedereen, van baby’s tot volwassenen. Ik begin met een heel licht hemels blauwe kleur op het plafond, net zoals in de natuur, van een heel lichtblauw tot een donkerblauw in het midden van het plafond. Daarna schilder ik de wolken, licht en pluizig, wit met een tintje grijs en blauw. Deze wolken lijken alsof ze echt zijn, drijvend boven uw hoofd, net zoals op een mooie zomerse dag. Heerlijk!
Deze voorbeelden zijn gemaakt voor een ‘Winnie de Poeh’ kinderkamer, maar u kunt dit mooie hemeltje hebben zonder iets op de muur te hebben, of in combinatie met een muurschildering. Uw plafond kan ook beschilderd worden met dingen als: engeltjes, vogels, vliegtuigen, of een magische regenboog. Alles is mogelijk!

Here in the Netherlands it isn’t always summer, it is often cloudy and grey over our heads. But I have news! A beautiful blue sky in you own room! Ideal for everyone, from babys to adults. To make this I start with a dreamy light skyblue which, just as in nature, starts on the horizon and slowly melds into a darker skyblue in the middle of the ceiling. Then I paint the clouds, with my own special technique to make them light and fluffy, with tints of grey and blue. These clouds look almost real drifting above your head just like on a lovely summers day. Wonderful!
The examples you see here are from a ‘Winnie the Pooh’ bedroom that I recently finished, but you can have your own summer sky in combination with your own choice of mural, or even on its own! Your blue sky can also be decorated with things like: angels, birdss, airplanes, or even your own magical rainbow. Anything is possible!
